These calls to my sister and brother-in-law are driving me nuts. I’m seriously thinking about lodging a complaint but have no clue who to report it to. They’re totally picking the wrong person if they think I’ll fork over a single penny!

They must be mad, ringing up and saying there's some official complaint against you. It's clearly a third party after cash. From what I understand of the rules, they aren't supposed to call and mention a complaint like that.

Got a call from some bloke claiming there’s a formal complaint against me. I just ended the call straight away. Honestly, enough with these calls already.

I had one of those scam calls too, they seem to never give up. So, I acted like a doddery old lady who couldn’t make up her mind about which credit card to use, just to keep them chatting. Ended up being on the line with them for nearly three hours - kept me entertained! But honestly, it’s just sick how they try to rip off vulnerable folk, especially pretending I was some disabled widow living on benefits. Proper nasty lot, the lot of them.

We keep getting calls from some debt collector about a relative who’s never even lived at this address. Haven't heard from or seen the guy for years, but they just won't stop ringing. Quite annoying, really!

This number kept ringing and I let it go to voicemail. They left a message saying there’s some kind of complaint against me. Then I heard a robot say my name, followed by a bloke asking for my help and telling me to ring them back. They didn’t stop there - they also called my mum who lives miles away, my job, and even other family members. Such a pain!

Both voices on the call sounded like recordings. The first was a deep male voice, no obvious accent, but quite terse, saying something about a "formal complaint" made against a certain (name). Then it stopped, and another male voice, also recorded, said the name, before the first voice came back with some odd wording, asking if anyone has info to help find this (pause) person to contact the number given, finishing with "thank you for your cooperation." The audio was patchy, with weird gaps like parts had been cut out, and no details except the name they’re after. I have no clue why they’d be ringing me up, wanting my "help" to find somebody I haven’t been in touch with or heard from in ages.
