Got a call from this number, some woman on the line claiming I owe money for a payday loan. Thing is, I never borrowed a single penny from anyone!

Got a robo-call from some machine voice claiming I'm involved in something urgent. They had my address and social security number, asked me to make three payments of £124.50 each. Some lady called herself Gale Hatcher and said Esquire Magazine took legal action against me, claiming I owe £1268, but they’d accept those three payments instead. Then they rang back, this time saying it was Concord Appliance calling - I checked it out, it’s a store out in California, a place I’ve never even visited. This has become so exhausting, I left a message on my answerphone saying I’ve reported it to the FBI. Might just have to change my phone number soon. Oh, and the weirdest part - they used my Facebook name when they called, which really took me by surprise.

I keep getting calls from this number like clockwork every day. At first they were leaving voicemails saying something about a favour and telling me that their lawyers were dealing with my case. Now, all they do is just drop their number on the voicemail and hang up. It’s really frustrating because they call at exactly the same time but never actually pick up when I try to call back. Honestly, it’s so irritating I’m thinking about changing my phone number.
