Not sure who’s behind this 844 number but I got a couple of messages from them. They keep saying they're going to take control of all my stuff and some rep is supposed to visit me in the next day or two to talk about it. Pretty weird and a bit worrying honestly.

Got two calls from this number in the same day. Definitely one of those dodgy IRS scams trying to get you to hand over cash. Avoid it!

This morning, I got a call claiming the IRS was taking action against me, but it was obviously a scam. I've seen the same kind of message from a couple of different numbers now. I'm planning to report this to both the State and Federal law enforcement authorities.

I picked up the call and this robot voice told me it was the IRS, saying I had a warrant and they were gonna put liens on all my stuff. They told me I had to ring them back.
