This lot claimed they worked for Microsoft. I told them I had already spoken with Microsoft directly and they never make calls like that. They were clearly up to no good, but I said I’d reported them to the cops. The bloke didn’t know a thing about my PC, like the version of Windows and all that. He kept getting everything wrong. Felt sorry for the guy really.

Got a call from a number showing up as All PC Experts. They were pushing hard, saying they work for IOLA (System Mechanic) and that my computer had some serious issues that needed fixing urgently before it blew up. I rang IOLA myself and they told me they never make calls like that. They're now looking into it quickly. Be cautious, folks!

Just like the person before me, they asked me to hop on my computer so they could check something out. Absolutely no chance I was going to do that!

Somebody phoned me claiming there was an issue with their server and asked if they could get into my work computer. I never let anyone use my computer, no way I’m handing over access like that.
