I got a call from someone claiming to be with PC Financial Mastercard. They asked me to confirm some details for security reasons. I didn’t give anything until they could prove who they actually were. They then gave me the very number they’d called from and told me to ring back to check it was legit.

Total scam alert. Got a call claiming to be from "president's choice" about some kind of programme, but they wouldn’t give me any proper info. Usually when PC rings, their name pops up on my screen, never some random 844 number like this one. Definitely dodgy.

I actually rang the official finance number for the head office to double check, so yeah, it's genuine.

They kept insisting I owed money because of some "covid19 relief scheme" I supposedly joined, which apparently ended last month. Absolute scumbags. I’ve lost mates to this virus, and anyone calling from places like that call centre should really ask themselves if they've got any conscience left. It's sickening.

I got a call from 18442867069 and it felt a bit dodgy. The voicemail from a woman sounded like she was drunk and spoke really quietly. She mentioned a local 313 number about my PC Mastercard. When I tried ringing back, the extension said it was invalid and I got an automated message about PC Mastercard. The voicemail sounded super familiar, like those scam ones. Then a bloke answered straight away with the usual hello and asked for my card number. I told him I was having second thoughts about giving out my details and if it was alright not to share them. Honestly, it’s quite strange for someone to pick up immediately these days. Would advise blocking this number.

I had reached out via the PC Mastercard app and shortly after got a call from someone claiming to be from their team. She asked me to confirm some details before going any further. I was a bit cautious, so I requested she add a note to my account since I wanted to double-check by calling their official number myself. Dialling the number on the back of my card, I spoke to a customer service rep who confirmed the original call was indeed from their side. They even gave me the very same number the first person used and hooked me up again. So yeah, this isn’t a scam at all.

They claimed to be from PC Mastercard and wanted me to confirm my address and stuff! I asked them why, but all I got was a mumble about a transaction. When I asked them to repeat it, they just pushed for the address again. I kept asking why, but they were hard to understand and eventually told me to ring my contact centre before hanging up. So I called the contact centre, waited a bit, but all I could get was a robotic message on repeat, so I gave up. I never gave out my card number because I wanted to speak to a real person first. I’ll try calling them again tomorrow... something definitely seems off!

Just got a call from someone claiming to be from a company called PCB, talking about some President's Choice special deal, calling it "good news" or something. They wanted my personal details and told me to ring back on extension 566. Pretty sure it’s a scam, so watch out!
