Got a phone call from 303-923-5220. The person said it was about a Criminal Legal Complaint and told me to ring 844-257-0960 for details about my “case”. Since I work in law myself, it’s clear to me this is just a scam. Don’t fall for it!

Just got a call from a Colorado number (303) 923-5220 claiming I have a civil case against me. It sounded dodgy, so I looked up the 8442570960 number online and found loads of warnings. Definitely not planning to ring that 844 number, feels like another scam to me.

I got a call saying I had to ring this number within a couple of hours about some legal trouble. When I phoned, they asked for personal details like my date of birth, social security number, and home address. I didn’t want to give anything, and then they started getting quite aggressive, threatening me with fines and punishments if I didn’t comply. It definitely felt like a scam, similar to those annoying calls claiming to be from the tax office. Seriously, never hand over your info to people like this!

Around 4:20pm on July 3rd, I got a call from a number based in Colorado, even though I’m in Missouri. A woman asked if she was speaking to me, then claimed it was a courtesy call about some papers they’d supposedly sent me about six weeks ago. She told me I had only a couple of hours left to ring a certain number or else there’d be legal consequences because someone apparently had filed a civil case against me. When I asked where exactly they’d mailed these documents, she said she wasn’t allowed to share any details apart from my name and phone number. I told her it all sounded fishy, pretty much a scam, and she just responded with “sorry you think that way.” I ended the call there.

I got a call saying there was a legal complaint against me and that they had some of my details. Feels like some dodgy scam to me. Definitely reckon it's a fraud gang.
