I was enticed by the offer of a month's free subscription alongside some store vouchers, yet when I cancelled before the deadline, I still ended up being charged. To make matters worse, they also enrolled me in a travel website without any approval from my side. This feels decidedly like a con job!

I received a rather dubious call claiming I’d won a £100 petrol voucher along with £500 for grocery shopping. They insisted on getting my primary address, but I firmly refused and told the bloke to get lost. Clearly, it was a scam.

I received a message claiming I’d won a gas card worth $100 and an additional $500 in shopping vouchers. Apparently, the only cost I have to cover is a mere £1.90 for postage!

I received a call from this number, 1 403 800 0334, which was supposedly linked to a customer service line for a shopping discount club. They informed me that I had won a £100 fuel card but that I only needed to pay £1.95 for shipping and handling. After doing a bit of digging online, I discovered it was nothing but a scam. As soon as they realised I was onto them, they abruptly ended the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
