Beware of Mastercard and Visa scams! They tried to tell me they could reduce my interest rates and wanted me to confirm details about my credit cards. I rang up both Mastercard and Visa myself, and they told me straight away it was a scam!

I just received a call claiming to be from Visa and Mastercard offering to lower the interest rate to 6% forever. As soon as I started asking questions, they suddenly cut the line! Tried ringing them back, but all I got was a busy tone. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

This was clearly a scam. They said they were from Visa and tried to tempt me with a massive reduction in interest rates - a crazy 509%! They then wanted me to confirm personal details, which felt very dodgy. Tried ringing the number they gave, 1-844-230-3334, but it just wouldn’t go through. Avoid these calls!
