The caller introduced himself as Patrick Gupta claiming to represent Microsoft. He stated that they were about to disable my computer ID or IP address because of some supposedly unlawful activities. I insisted that he provide me with a formal written notice detailing their claims and intentions. He mentioned that I would receive it shortly, within the hour, and insisted it would be sent to my residential address, which he appeared to have on file. Curiously, when I attempted to ring the number back, it had already been altered. Someone needs to locate this fool and have him sent away!
