So they've called me thrice just within a couple of hours today. I just let the first two ring out, didn’t bother answering. When they rang the third time, I picked up but stayed quiet, then they just cut the call. It’s really frustrating since a family member of mine is seriously unwell in hospital and I’m waiting on an important call any moment now.

Got calls from two separate people today, both times they knew my name (which isn’t hard to find online). Each one claimed to be from Microsoft, telling me there was a problem with my computer's driver. They said if I was in front of my PC, they could guide me on how to fix it. Needless to say, I just hung up straight away.

I picked up the phone and a guy with a weird foreign accent said he was calling from Microsoft doing some kind of marketing thing. He asked for just a couple minutes, but I told him I have a block on my number for calls like that and that I’d report him for cold calling. Then I just ended the call.

Honestly, this number seems pretty shady to me.

I get calls from this number nearly every day, when I pick up there’s silence at first, then after a bit you hear a lady say goodbye before it cuts off. I haven’t found any details on Google about who it might be or where it’s from, plus I’m not sure how to block the number anyway.

I picked up the phone and could hear someone laughing on the other end, but they never spoke, so I just ended the call.

When I answered the phone, I greeted them cheerily with a "Good Morning" a couple of times. I could tell there was someone there, but they just stayed silent and ended the call after around a dozen seconds.
