I kept getting random sports texts that i never asked for, each one charging me £2.50. Ended up messaging Stop like 3 times and now i'm trying to get my money back.

Scammers for sure.

80250 is a total rip off! I've had £2.50 taken from my account every month for a whole year now from this number. It usually happens once or twice on weekends, like Saturdays or Sundays. It's just awful that the authorities haven't caught these crooks yet, such stingy cheats. Make sure to warn all your friends and family about this number so they don't get scammed too by these muppets!

80250 is a total scam! For a whole year now, this number has been taking money from me. Every time it's just £2.50, but it happens like 1 to 4 times a month, mostly over the weekends. Honestly, it's shocking that the authorities can't track down these sneaky people. Tell all your friends and family to watch out, don't let these crooks steal from you!

80250 these fraudsters just keep texting me even tho I keep blocking them again and again. Im proper fed up of being conned. I’ve been charged £35 for unwanted texts for 2 months straight and I’ve unsubscribed but they still find a way to get past the block and send more. Now it’s the 3rd month and I’m still getting billed £35 extra on my phone bill even tho I dont get any texts from them. Can anyone help with this?

I got in touch with Three and they already knew about this issue. They reduced my credit limit to zero, so I cant use any services beyond what’s in my contract. They said doing this would stop any further charges from texts like these.

blocking 80250 dont seem to stop them from charging me, they've been taking £2.50 a few times a month since august 2018. i thought blocking the number would fix it but they still managed to take money from my account. i rang the number someone posted here and got told a different number and company called mekersi instead.

60336 is now the new contact number for Veoo. Watch out and make sure you tell your provider, ask for your money back, and message STOP to 60336. Like others, I haven’t signed up to anything, so this is just nuts. The government and lawmakers are way too slow to take action.

This is a rip off. They keep taking £10 from me using 80250, stop it please!

I use Three for my mobile and they told me to text STOP to 80250 first. Then, I had to email the company at [email protected][###], giving them your number, your name, and saying you never signed up for their service and want your money back. Make sure to add the dates you got the messages - you can get those from your phone bill. Hope this helps anyone dealing with the same problem.

They’ve messaged me a couple times too. Anyone know a real way to make them quit? Saying stop doesn’t seem to do anything.

Just got a text saying I've signed up for Totally Discounts which charges £2.50 per message, up to 3 times a month. It says I can opt out by texting stop to 80250. What’s this about? I never signed up for anything like that. The message ended with SP I-Simm Help? and a number 01392953069. Anyone else got this?

Got a message from Free Msg Alert saying £2.50 per text maximum 3 times a month from Totally Discounts. Then another from Boohoo [###] offering 10% off, said to text STOP to 80250. Thankfully they only charged me £2.50. I contacted Tesco Mobile about it and now they’ve blocked all premium texts and calls on my phone.

No one actually rang me, but I got charged £2.50 for a premium text. Not sure how they even managed to get hold of my number since I’m pretty careful about who I give it to.

Got a couple of texts from 80250 saying it’s my unique ID or something, didn’t bother replying, just ended up blocking it. Fingers crossed they didn’t sneak any charges onto my bill.

Looks like this is one of those Reverse Charge Text scams, added about £17 to my phone bill over the last five weeks. I’m with Talktalk and I’ve called them three times to get it sorted because these unwanted texts just keep coming and we don’t even reply. The last time I spoke to them, they told me to text ‘Stop’ to 80250, but when I did, it said I’d be charged for sending that message. Feels like they’re trying to rip you off both for getting the messages and for trying to stop them. Seriously, someone needs to put an end to all this.

They’ve been charging me £2.50 every month since June for no clear reason - I’ve tried sorting it with Three but they’re really not being helpful with getting my money back or anything.

I ended up blocking their number after getting charged £5 for just 2 texts on my phone. I never replied back to any of their messages, yet my latest phone bill shows they’ve billed me for an extra 6 messages, even though I’ve had them blocked... ridiculous!

JUST HEARD!! That 2017 Love Island bloke is knocked up or something. I don’t watch Love Island or any of that rubbish but it cost me £2.83 then another 83p just to give ’em a piece of my mind for scamming me. Didn’t even give ’em my number or ask for anything!

They’re taking £1.50 from me multiple times each month. I’ve sent a text saying stop, fingers crossed it actually stops now. Any idea how I can get a refund? It’s more than £20 by now.

Bit of a scam, really. I clicked a link on Facebook claiming I could win free Ryanair flights. They sent me a pin to put in to enter the draw. After I filled out the form, there was a note saying I’d agreed to get texts costing £2.50 each, with instructions to text Stop to 80250 to unsubscribe. I haven’t messaged them back yet, but I’ll be getting in touch with EE to let them know about this dodgy scam.

Got a text saying I signed up for some news alerts and that they'd be charging me somehow. It also said if I reply with STOP, I’d get charged too. Feels like a scam or something dodgy.

Got spammed with premium text offers for short break holidays and Tesco Mobile went ahead and blocked all those premium rate texts and calls for me. I gotta say, Tesco’s done me good coz I only got billed for one of those texts instead of all five they sent, which would've ended up costing me like £12.50. Definitely recommend Tesco for this kind of stuff.

Yep, same for me. Codazone has been taking £2.08 off me every single week for ages. Didn’t notice since EE stopped sending me paper bills and I wasn’t really looking at my bank statements. I never signed up for any mobile subscriptions. Proper rip off!
