11 yearsThese lot are total con artists. Somehow they got into my Chase account and grabbed my details, then claimed I owe money for a payday loan from years back - 2010! Thing is, I’ve never taken out one of those loans. They rang a family member from 210-660-4425 and then hit me up from the same number today. But the voicemail they left was meant for someone else, different name and case number and all. They've called me a few times before but lately they've turned up the pressure. Weirdly, they even know the last four digits of my social. They throw out bogus case numbers like 180774 to sound legit. One of their messages was for my husband and came from a "Diana Forbes" - obviously a made-up name. Be careful, these people are just after your information.Chase BankNational InsuranceDiana Forbes11 yearsJust like the rest of you, I told them to send me the details in writing before I deal with it. Naturally, they just told me to hire a lawyer.11 yearsGot a phone call from this number just now, and they were saying the same weird line. Honestly, they really could use a bit of guidance because something about it just felt totally off. This site has been a lifesaver for figuring that out.11 yearsMy family keeps getting calls about some case that isn’t real at all. It’s totally a scam. They’re just pestering us nonstop.11 yearsSo just last night, July 14th, these lot ring up my ex-daughter-in-law, claiming I supposedly gave her info so they could reach me. Bit daft, innit? But Kim’s no mug - she told them to give her their number instead, and she’d call back with theirs, plus she even got a case number from them - straight away I thought that smelled fishy. I’ve never shared Kim’s details for anything, so why would I tell them to get my number through her? Anyway, I give them a bell and we went back and forth for ages. They were banging on about some cash advance cheque from 2008, saying they’re handling arbitration and if I don’t pay quick, they’ll send it to the county court to have me served. Then they said I should just settle out of court for about £900 odd, otherwise court would cost me £4000 on the spot. Ha! Like that’s happening. I’m ringing my solicitor next, and I’m thinking about contacting the police to get their advice on what to do. Proper scam if you ask me.Kim11 yearsMy home phone keeps ringing non stop from these callers and its really stressing us out. My partner isn’t well and he definitely doesn't want this kind of hassle. Something needs to be done, they really ought to be punished somehow.11 yearsI keep getting calls from a number showing as 2090 on my phone. They left a message with that same number, saying pretty much what others have mentioned here. These calls come through about four times every week and it's really starting to annoy me. I’m getting fed up with all this hassle.11 yearsThis number keeps ringing me and now they've even bothered my relatives who live miles away. They’re saying the same thing to everyone, threatening jail time. Seriously, how do I get them to stop?11 yearsGot a call from them claiming there were two cases against me and that they’d seize my wages. Honestly, who in New Jersey even works on a Saturday? What a load of rubbish.New Jersey11 yearsHonestly, I have no clue how they managed to get hold of my dad’s brand new number! This kind of constant pestering has got to stop before it ends up hurting someone for real!!! Someone really needs to step in and shut this down.11 yearsThis number keeps ringing my dad's phone, but it’s actually for my husband. When I phoned them back, they claimed some details were right but a lot was off! They threatened to take everything we own and said we’re being taken to court, with the local clerk’s office supposedly gonna contact us because he’s meant to have 3 payday loans! We’ve got 6 kids and it’s making life so stressful - we really need it to stop. On top of that, my dad’s job has him working on 6-foot ladders every day and these calls keep flooding his phone, wrongly calling him by my husband’s name. My dad keeps telling them they’ve got the wrong person but they just won’t quit! If they cause him to have an accident, we’re defo going to have to take legal action. This nonsense has got to end.11 yearsSo, I just got another call from the number 5742081846 roughly five minutes ago. The bloke kept saying I’ve got four legal cases against me and claimed he was reporting them to state authorities. He warned me this was my final warning and mentioned someone might turn up at my house or workplace to serve papers. I didn’t pick up, but he left a voicemail on my mobile. What’s weird is, I haven’t even got my phone set up properly, so how on earth did he get hold of my name? He knew both my first and last name and said he was from some legal processing department. It all sounds rather dodgy to me.11 yearsGot a call today just like the usual ones, and honestly, it’s so frustrating the stress these calls cause people. Someone really needs to find a way to get these callers into trouble and put an end to this nonsense. When I phoned the number back, a woman picked up saying it was the Arbitration department, asking where to send my call. But then the next time I called, a bloke answered and it was completely different. Such a mess!Arbitration department11 yearsMy son got a scary voicemail on his mobile from the number 916-318-7615 about some cash he supposedly owes, and he sent it over to me. Quite upsetting!11 yearsI reported everything the scammers told me straight to the police.11 yearsI'm dealing with the same thing as a lot of others here. They keep saying they're going to lodge two complaints with my county clerk and then chase me both at my job and at home. When they track me down, I have no way to sort it out and they want me to ring 1 800 989 0535. They even rang my husband's phone and left a voicemail.11 yearsI'm not sure if it was genuine, but they somehow had all my details and even warned me they’d report me to my boss by name.11 yearsGot a call from 5742081846 where the bloke said I’ve got four cases filed against me. He even threatened to ring my workplace and come looking for me. At the end he goes, “you’ve been officially notified.” Seriously, these scammers need to find something better to do. Sick of all these annoying calls.11 yearsMy lad got a call from these lot, asking where I am, saying I’ve got some court case about an online advance from way back in 2008. That’s a total lie, I’m certain! I work in collections myself, so I’m definitely reporting them to the FPDC.FPDC11 yearsMy mum got a call from a woman who said it was urgent and told her to have me ring 1 800 989 0535 ext 2018 225343. I’m in my 50s, don’t live with my mum, and definitely don’t use her phone. Mum wasn’t quite sure if they knew my name or just asked if she had a daughter, but being so trusting, she ended up giving them all my details. Cheers, Mum! Honestly, I was so frustrated with that. SMH!11 yearsBeen getting these annoying calls non-stop. Today, they even rang my parents' place, my job, my dad’s mobile (which I never shared with anyone), and my sister’s phone too. She got three calls from them today, all leaving messages about some sheriff coming after me and court stuff I supposedly owe. This is so frustrating and driving me mad!11 yearsThis number called me up claiming I had a payday loan from 2010 that I never paid back. They warned me about going to court if I didn't settle it. Apparently, the amount has now ballooned to over eight hundred quid or so.11 yearsFor weeks now, I’ve been getting calls from loads of different numbers, but they always tell me to ring back this particular one. It’s even gotten worse - they’ve started phoning my son and brother too. Honestly, it’s really starting to wind me up and the family’s getting proper worried. They keep going on about how I’ve got two cases supposedly filed at the courthouse, saying they’ll come after me at my job and home, all that usual nonsense. I’m well aware it’s a scam, but I have no idea how to make them stop!11 yearsFor weeks, I’ve been getting calls from loads of different numbers, but they always want me to ring back one particular number. They claimed I’ve got two cases filed against me by some Hawaii county clerk. The accent was off too, made me suspicious straight away. Honestly, how do these lot even rest easy trying to scam folks outta money? They really need to find a proper job. So annoying!Hawaii County11 yearsI've been getting calls from them nonstop - been ringing me, my family, even my job. It’s definitely some sort of scam, but honestly, no idea how to get them to quit. Anyone got advice?11 yearsThey rang my in-laws instead of me, saying I had two claims filed against me and threatening court action. Honestly, I just wish they'd stop bothering me altogether.11 yearsThis number 1800 989-0535 is linked to calls coming from 512-361-1947, be careful with both of them!11 yearsWatch out, this is definitely a scam! They ring you up saying you owe money on a loan and if you don't pay over the phone right then, you'll be dragged to court. But when you ask for any proof or info, they just clam up and don’t give you anything. Make sure to report these calls to the Ohio Attorney General. Don't fall for it!Ohio11 yearsThis has been a right nightmare. They have way too much of my personal details and got all aggressive. They won’t send me anything in writing, which is already dodgy. Allegedly, a payday loan was dropped into an account that's now closed. I sent a letter to the bank asking for clarification. They’ve gone ahead and called me a deadbeat refusing to pay, now threatening to sue me for £5k. I’m gathering all the evidence I can to sort this mess out. Everything’s already on my credit file anyway. Feels like a scam to me, but I’ll post updates when I know more.11 yearsI don’t get how this company says they got three complaints about me and even went as far as ringing my son, who serves in the Army. I honestly have no clue where they’re pulling this info from and it feels completely absurd! I don’t know the person behind it and I’m not happy about being hassled like this. If these calls don’t stop soon, I’m definitely going to consider taking legal steps.11 yearsI've been getting calls not just on my phone but my husband's too. On top of that, they've gone as far as digging up my personal details and even trying to track down my ex-husband’s number, and we split up over 20 years ago. I really wish they'd just quit this altogether.Submit Your Own Report (0800 989 0535)
