They’re quite pushy, attempting to pitch products and even request your credit card details. Definitely feels like a scam! I received a call purporting to be from Xfinity, claiming they were updating my account and offering some sort of savings. Naturally, I enquired about the specifics and asked what the fees would be. The caller hilariously mentioned that I was paying over £200. Well, that’s a good laugh because that’s simply not the case! She then probed me about how much I actually pay. I had to remind her that in this day and age, we don’t just divulge personal account details to complete strangers spouting random offers over the phone... Almost immediately after I started explaining, she hung up on me! Quite the impolite tactic, don’t you think? What a farce! 😂

I’ve been hounded by these con artists ringing me multiple times each day. Caller ID shows up as Comcast, yet they insist it’s not one of their legitimate lines. Quite the cheek, if you ask me!

I just got a call from this number claiming to be from Xfinity, and they mentioned they'd received alerts about my internet connection the day before. It was clear from the get-go that it was a scam. I simply replied, "what a shame," and ended the call. Honestly, these scammers are relentless!

The caller ID indicated it was from Comcast. A chap with an extremely strong accent inquired whether I had browsed any dodgy websites lately. I decided to cut the conversation short and ended the call. Clearly, it seemed like a scam attempt.

We've received a couple of calls from this particular number, the first time a woman on the line asserted she was calling from a credit card company, insisting I had to make a payment immediately over the phone. She requested that I confirm my credit card details, address, and social security number. Naturally, I declined and swiftly ended the call. Earlier today, we were contacted again by the same number, with the caller claiming to have previously worked on our computer and informing us of a supposed security breach that required us to download something onto our device. The truth is, we’ve never had anyone attend to our computer. When my husband firmly told them to go away, the chap had the audacity to call him an absolute jerk before hanging up. The caller ID stated it was from Comcast, but clearly, that’s not the case!

Initially, I received a pop-up on my Apple iPod, a gift from Comcast. I ended up inputting some details when prompted. Not long after, another pop-up appeared, warning me of a supposed security issue with Safari and advising me to ring 18009436489. Upon making the call, the individual on the other end instructed me to link my iPod to my laptop and visit a particular website. He provided me with a code to enter, which led to a request to download something. I felt uneasy about it and clearly stated I wasn’t keen on downloading anything. He then suggested I head to the Apple Store to resolve it and abruptly ended the call. I went to my laptop, noticed a couple of recent downloads, and took the precaution of deleting them. However, the unease lingers, and my heart is racing. I'm quite apprehensive about bringing this up with my husband. Is there anyone out there who can offer assistance?
