I received a phone call from this number early this morning, at 8am, and the caller identified themselves as debt collectors from Penn Credit. I took a look at their official site, and it appears the numbers line up correctly. However, when he requested some of my personal details and I declined to provide any, he abruptly cut the call. It all seems rather suspicious-could this be a scam?

My mother received a phone call from someone claiming to be a debt collector looking for me. They refused to identify themselves, and as soon as she mentioned that she was my mum, they just ended the call abruptly. Quite dodgy behaviour, if you ask me!

I’ve just had a rather peculiar call from that number, inquiring about my address. Naturally, I wanted to ascertain what it was regarding, as I’m not the sort to divulge my details to strangers without a valid reason. They then proceeded to fish for more personal information, before abruptly wishing me a splendid day and hanging up. It left me feeling quite unsettled! Quite odd, to say the least!
