Got a robo call from SPECTRUM, super annoying. I’m definitely on the Do Not Call registry, so this feels totally against the rules.

When this number popped up, I picked up straight away and suspected it was one of those scams. I spoke firmly and they mumbled a bit before ending the call. I tried calling them back but just got an answering machine, so I ended it and blocked the blasted number right away. Surely they must realise what they’re doing isn’t legal here or over there. I can’t help but think, would their folks be proud of this sort of stealing?

I rang the number back and it turned out to be a wireless phone provider or sumthing like that.

Someone rang me today, I didn't pick up, and they left no voicemail or anything.

I got a call from someone with a strong accent saying they were from AT&T trying to sell me "special offers." The number showed up as Spectrum, but AT&T doesn’t even operate where I live. I ended the call straight away and then told Spectrum about it. Best to just ignore these calls if you get one.

Got a call from them again this afternoon, only let it ring once before they cut off. They’ve been ringing me quite a few times over the last few months!

Got a call from some scammer trying to get my details, so I just ended the call quickly. They kept ringing and pestering me, really annoying!

They said they were from Spectrum at first, but it turned out they were offering Direct TV and other stuff. Definitely misleading info.

I picked up the phone and the bloke on the other end had a bit of an accent. He seemed to know where I lived and was trying to pitch me some kind of special offer to lower my bill. I asked why my bill had gone up recently instead, but he just kept insisting he could get me a better deal. It felt kinda dodgy, so I told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call. How did they even get such detailed info to call me like that? Either way, I decided not to waste any more time and hung up.
