I got two calls from this number over the past few days. The first time I picked up, there was silence. The second time, a woman answered almost straight away after I said “hello”. She was looking for someone called Maria and asked if I knew her. I said no, wrong number sorry. Then she said I needed to wait 24 hours for my number to be taken off their list. I just said thanks and ended the call. The woman sounded a bit odd and like she wanted to keep talking, which made me a bit uneasy.

I got a call from this number and it showed up as First Data Group on my phone. They left a voicemail asking me to ring an 800 number to check some suspicious debit card activity. But when I dialled that 800 number, it just went to a weird survey. Also, if you try calling 800-755-5143, it doesn't take you to First Data at all, more like a debt collection place or something. Feels a bit dodgy to me.
