I keep getting calls, but when I pick up, there's nobody on the other end. Sometimes I try calling back and still get nothing. They ring me like 4 or 5 times daily, really annoying.

It's been more than a year since I last heard from my eldest boy. Lately, for about three months now, I've been flooded with calls from this one number and lots of others too. They ring up to 18 times daily, but nobody ever explains why they're calling.

I get calls where the person won’t say who they are before asking for my details. I tell them straight away that I’m not sharing anything till they say who they are and what it’s about. Then they just keep saying it’s private and they need info from me first. I never fall for that, so I just end the call and block them every time.

This number has been ringing me nearly every day since the 12th of March - 12th, 13th, 14th, 16th, 22nd and then just today the 23rd. I usually just ignored the calls but today I decided to pick up. No one said anything, I tried greeting them a couple of times but still nothing, then they just ended the call. Strange behaviour really.

A bloke rang me saying it was about something personal, but he wouldn’t say what, or what company he was from. Then he started reading out my address, asking me to confirm it. When I asked who he was, he said he needed to check my details first. I told him I wasn’t discussing anything without knowing who he was and told him to take me off their call list before hanging up. It’s creepy that he had my name and address, but I didn’t give him any info back. I’ve blocked the number now. Plus, the guy spoke with a thick accent, maybe Indian or Hispanic, but used a really English name - I didn’t trust him at all.
