This number has been ringing me nearly every day for a week now. When I finally picked up, a lady said it was about my computer. I told her she’d got the wrong number. She then said sorry for disturbing me and ended the call.

This bloke called me again on my mobile, twice this month now. Said he's from Geek Support, ringing about my computer or something. I asked him which computer I was even meant to have, and he said my personal one. Told him I've got loads of computers. Then he went on about how all of them have some virus and if I sat down and switched one on, he’d put me through to a senior tech. I acted like I was turning one on while I was driving, and he faked the transfer, but in the end I just ended the call. Would be great to find a way to report him or give him a scare.

Got a ring on a Sunday morning, around 9. The guy on the other end had a really strong accent, sounded Middle Eastern or South Asian to me. Instead of being polite, I just began throwing insults about his mum, sisters and wife without holding back. Shockingly, dude just cut the call!

Total scam this one. They try to convince you there’s problems with your computer that aren’t even there and then want you to pay for fixing them. Just don’t fall for it and simply end the call!

This bloke rang me up saying he was from some “geek support” team. The number was hidden, which made me suspicious right away. He said he needed to chat about Windows stuff, so I asked him what type of computer I had. After that, he suddenly started making all these inappropriate sexual comments. I quickly ended the call. Then he called me again from 18008456565, and this time he outright wanted to get sexual. I just hung up on him straight away.

This number has called me several times lately, including twice today. They claim to be from Geek Support and keep asking me to switch on my computer. When I tried to find out where exactly they were calling from, they wouldn’t give me any clear answers and just kept pushing me to turn my device on. I wondered if it might be connected to Best Buy since my daughter bought a new computer a few months back, but the caller gave no details. One time it was a woman with an accent that didn’t sound local, and another time a man called. I just ended the call in the end. Luckily, I noticed a ‘call reject list’ option on my phone and added their number to it, so fingers crossed they stop ringing me.

Got a call from 18008456565 about 8:35 tonight. The person on the other end said there’s something wrong with my internet connection. When I asked who he was, he said his name was Kevin. He also mentioned he’ll ring me again on Tuesday, sometime between 8 and 10 pm.

Loads of calls coming through to all our mobiles at home. Usually it’s a bloke with a foreign accent, but once it was a woman. They claim to be from Geek Support. When we ask them for our names, they never seem to know what we’re talking about. We’ve even asked them to spell the ‘American’ name they give us and they just can’t do it. It gets quite amusing because they often lose their cool and just hang up, probably because we’re messing around knowing it’s a total con.

Around 5:48 pm on 8th March, I got a call from a man with an accent saying he needed to look at my computer to “make sure it was working fine.” He claimed it was a free checkup from Windows. I straight up told him I never asked for this service and told him not to ring me again. Right after that, he just ended the call.

On the 3rd of August 2015, around 11:20 in the morning, I received a call from this number. A woman claimed to be from tech support and said I’d reported a security issue on my PC. She wanted me to switch my computer on. When I asked her for my name, she just kept saying it was registered with Microsoft. I kept asking, but she just repeated herself. Eventually, I confronted her, saying she was being dishonest. She replied that she couldn’t lie as she was human. I told her to add me to their do not call list and ended the call.
