So today I decided to call back, only to find out the number charges £4.99 a minute to listen or get any info! Honestly, these people deserve a spot in hell for scamming like that.

These con artists deserve nothing but the worst. Someone up there’s keeping an eye on them, I’m sure! It’s heartbreaking really - folks get driven to desperate acts over these fake debt claims. How on earth do they get any rest at night? Not a shred of remorse for wrecking lives just for some worthless cash that could be tossed in the bin? They keep pestering innocent people daily. In the end, it’s actually these scammers who’ll face the consequences. They seriously need to wake up and see the damage they’re causing.

It’s 2017 and these lot are still pestering. Just got back and had a voicemail from this number but they got my first name completely wrong. They asked me to ring back on ext3267. I looked up 18007274145 online and ended up here. No way I’m calling them back unless it’s the cops first.

For the past few weeks this number keeps ringing me up, always asking to speak to my husband. When I question how they have my contact instead of his, they just shrug it off saying maybe my number’s listed as a backup or something? Yet they don’t seem to have his main number at all. Then, a couple days ago, my husband decided to call them back. They claimed he owes money on some tool loan from last year, and said if he doesn’t pay by the end of the month it’ll be passed on to a collection agency. Which puzzles me because I thought that’s who they were already? They call themselves TOTAL CREDIT RECOVERY. Honestly, feels like a total scam to me. Avoid this number!

When I called back today, I got put through to a message, then transferred to the next person available, who turned out to be her. Unfortunately when I tried calling again, the line was busy. That’s when I thought I’d check the number and came across this website.

So I got a call from a woman about my student loan, she told me I’d got a letter about the payments and the amount I owe. I told her there’s no way I can afford that much, and asked if there was any way to reduce it. She said she was calling from the government, but the letter actually wasn’t from them. They wanted me to pay £337 monthly, then she asked me what I could realistically pay each month. After that, she started asking for my bank details, which I don’t even have.

This number rang me and the caller said they were from Total Credit Recovery, telling me to get in touch with them. I’m certain I don’t owe anyone money at all. I haven’t bothered calling them back since I’m not sure if the call was genuine or a scam.

What a load of rubbish! I don’t owe a penny to anyone, there’s no ex lurking with debt attached to me, and my 10 year old daughter definitely hasn’t got any bills outstanding. I’ve got no loans, no credit cards, no student debt, no overdue accounts - absolutely nothing. I’ve reached out to this firm multiple times, and each time they promised my number would be taken off their list, yet their automatic calls come through again the next day. Just today, right after I hung up on their recorded message, I phoned them back and they basically said they have no record of calling me because my number is supposedly deleted. Clearly not true! :(

This number keeps ringing me every single day. I've reached out to them loads of times, asking to be taken off their calling list because they've got the wrong name linked to my phone. Whenever I manage to speak to a real person, they always promise my number’s been removed, but sure enough, within a few hours or the next day their robo-calls start again. I have a public phone and surely it wouldn’t take long for them to check and see that the number and name don’t match up. I don’t owe anything to any company in Ontario or anywhere else in Canada, and honestly, it feels like harassment at this point. I’ve had this landline for almost three years, and these calls started about eight months ago. After giving them solid proof, they really should just stop calling me straight away!

So there’s this outfit the Canadian conservative gov’t hired to chase what they call unpaid money from child tax credit rebates dating all the way back to 1990. Back when I was an undergrad, my daughter was in daycare, and I used to get about a grand a year from the child daycare benefit. Then in 2005, they suddenly wanted me to pay back £1000 for 1994, claiming they didn’t have the daycare receipt from that year. Tried reaching out to my old uni and the daycare to find a copy, but neither kept records that old. I told the government this, but they just handed my case over to the collectors. Me, the daycare, and my old university have all rung up different government offices and sent letters but got zero response. Changed my number since then, but somehow they tracked down the new one and have been ringing me daily for the last decade.
