I rang this number back since I actually bank with Scotiabank, but it just asked me to confirm my full name by pressing 1. I ended the call straight away. It seemed really dodgy. Scotiabank wouldn’t use an automated message to get your details - they’d have a real agent introduce themselves and ask proper security questions to protect your info. Watch out for this number, it’s suspicious.

Totally a scam. Checked the P.O. box on Google Maps and it’s in Don Mills, Ontario. The street view shows it’s in a pretty rough area, kinda like the projects. There’s no way Scotiabank would use a P.O. box there.
