I had a rather peculiar phone call earlier today. The caller claimed that I had set up an account without providing my full name, which was indeed the case. When I expressed that I didn’t require assistance, she persisted and asked for my full name to update the account. Naturally, I was hesitant to divulge my personal information to someone whose identity I couldn’t verify. I inquired if she could offer more details about my account, but she mentioned that she didn’t have access to all the information. In an effort to clarify matters, I requested her contact number in case I encountered any issues later on, but she declined, stating that she would send me an email instead, which I could respond to if I needed further help. Fast forward nearly an hour later, and I’m still waiting for that email to arrive. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

I received a call today and decided to pick up. All I heard was "Hello? Hello?" repeatedly. After a while, I responded with a "Yes," and they promptly ended the call, leaving me a bit on edge. It's really concerning; I've heard it's risky to say "Yes" when you're speaking to someone you don't recognise.

I received a rather peculiar call on my mobile while in Mexico. The gentleman on the other end seemed to know my first name, which was rather unsettling. He claimed to be calling from Uber and inquired if I had encountered any issues with customers the previous week. I assured him that I hadn’t. It was quite evident that he wasn’t Mexican; his accent revealed he hailed from South America. After our brief exchange, he simply thanked me and disconnected the call. However, when I attempted to dial out again, I was shocked to discover that all the credit on my mobile had vanished into thin air.

I received a call from this number and it was rather odd. Initially, there was someone on the line chattering away, but out of the blue, it all went silent, which prompted me to hang up. Not long after, they tried again, yet this time there was nothing but dead air on the other end. Quite unsettling, really!
