I got a call from someone saying I’d opened a new account but hadn’t put my full name down - which was true. They asked if I needed any assistance, but I said no. Then they wanted my full name to update the account, but I wasn’t keen on giving my details without knowing who I was speaking to. I asked them for some info from the account to prove they were legit, but they said they didn’t have all the details. I then requested a contact number to call them back if there was an issue, but they said they couldn’t give me one and would send an email instead, saying I could reply if I needed help. It’s been nearly an hour now, and I still haven’t got that email.

Got a call from this number earlier and when I picked up, they kept repeating "Hello? Hello?" I said yes once just out of curiosity and they cut the call right away. Honestly, it’s a bit unsettling. Definitely don’t say yes if you don’t know who’s on the line.

Somebody just called, said my name, then immediately ended the call. Weird.

I received a call on my mobile here in Mexico from this number. The guy on the other end knew my first name, which surprised me. He claimed he was ringing from Uber and asked if I’d faced any issues with passengers recently. I told him no, nothing happened. His accent was South American, definitely not Mexican. After that, he just said thanks and ended the call. Later, when I tried to make another call, I noticed all the credit on my phone was gone. Very strange and worrying!

This number rang me and at first, I heard someone talking but then they just went silent out of nowhere. I hung up and they rang back right away, but this time there was just silence the whole time. It was pretty unnerving. I looked up the number to see who it was.

So, I got a phone call from a woman claiming to be from Uber, asking about my experience on my previous two rides. I wasn’t thinking straight and ended up saying yes to something before realising I had no clue what she was on about. Now I’m a bit concerned about what that could mean.
