10 yearsI received a call from a number that appeared as all zeros on my caller display, which seemed rather suspicious to me. The individual on the line wouldn’t stop rambling and eventually spat out a number: 1-800-5844. He claimed he could demonstrate how numerous people were accessing my computer, yet curiously, he couldn't explain how he obtained my phone number, insisting instead that it was "on record.” When I expressed my belief that I was dealing with a fraudster, he had the audacity to admonish me to "mind my language." I couldn't help but chuckle at his response. To add insult to injury, he insinuated that my manner of speaking indicated I was from Pakistan. He identified himself as a representative from Windows Tech Support but was relentless in his chatter. Eventually, I found it necessary to terminate the call.Pakistan10 yearsI just received a call from a number that appeared as all zeros on my caller ID. Strangely, when I pressed him on how he'd obtained my number, he simply stated it’s “on record.” I let him know I suspected this was some sort of con, to which he had the gall to admonish me to “watch my language.” I couldn’t help but chuckle at his response! Then, in a rather bizarre twist, he suggested I must hail from Pakistan for my manner of speaking. He insisted he was from Windows Tech and Support, but honestly, I couldn’t take it anymore and had to cut the call short.
