I'm hoping to have a conversation with someone regarding a Social Security Number. Would it be possible to chat with someone in German? I'd really appreciate your assistance!

Lately, I've been receiving calls from this number several times a day, yet they never bother to leave any voicemails. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

I've had a few calls from this number recently regarding a back brace and other bits and bobs. They kept asking me to confirm details with a supervisor, which I found rather dodgy, so I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up. It’s peculiar because the same folks with that particular accent keep ringing me. After doing a bit of digging online, I discovered it's linked to some kind of scam that's been doing the rounds. Yet, they seem relentless in their attempts to contact me! Honestly, what’s a person supposed to do about it?

Just received a call from an unknown number claiming to be Medicare - definitely a scam!

I had a rather dubious call earlier, supposedly from Medicare, inquiring whether I’d received my replacement card yet. The caller referred to themselves as “Bob” instead of using my proper name, Robert. I’m beginning to suspect this is some sort of scam. Definitely not convinced it was legitimate!

I received a dodgy call from someone claiming to represent Medicare. Total scam!

This morning at precisely 11:18, I had a rather odd phone call from a woman named Kate Miller. She claimed that I was eligible for a new back brace, which piqued my interest. As it turns out, in a moment of lapse, I inadvertently shared my social security number with her. I’m well aware that I should have been more cautious, especially since I didn’t make the call myself. Thankfully, I’ve already reached out to the genuine Medicare office, and they have documented this incident. Best, Karen A Pringle 30 Westfield St Worcester, MA 01602

Beware of a Medicare con artist using the legitimate medical hotline, 1-800-633-4227. They speak poorly and inquire if you’ve received your new Medicare card. If you mention you haven’t, they’ll request details from your old card. DO NOT ENGAGE. Just hang up! Remember, Medicare will never reach out to you. It’s crucial to report this to the Federal Trade Commission via their website: www.ftc.gov. Simply choose "File a Consumer Complaint," then click on the red "ALERT" button to proceed and log your report. Skip the personal info sections and jot down your concerns at the end before submitting. The more we report these scams, the swifter the FTC can take action against the perpetrators.

It’s not a Medicare number, that's for sure. I did a reverse phone search and found out it belongs to Blue Bell Surgery Centre in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

I received a rather alarming call from someone insisting that I provide my previous Medicare number in order to obtain my new one and claim complimentary medications.

I've been getting calls from this number around five or six times daily. I usually ignore them, but once they bombarded me with questions, which was a bit much, so I hung up. Despite that, they persist in ringing me, claiming I've been issued a new card number, which is baffling since I don't even have Medicare!

I received a message saying that a new card is on its way, but I need to verify that I've got the correct number. I took a look at this website, and it turns out, it’s nothing but a scam!

Received a call from someone claiming they needed my previous Medicare number to deactivate it. Well, anyone familiar with Medicare is aware that the old number was simply our National Insurance number. I informed him that it’s highly unlikely Medicare would make such a call, and just like that, he cut off the conversation.

I received a call from someone claiming they needed my outdated Medicare number to cancel it. Anyone familiar with Medicare understands that the previous number was essentially our National Insurance number. I pointed out that Medicare wouldn’t make such calls, and he promptly ended the conversation.

I just received a rather dodgy call from someone with an Indian accent, purporting to represent Medicare. He requested a callback number, which he provided as his Medicare number. Strangely enough, the caller ID displayed a completely different number: 1-635-482-6520. It's clearly a scam, so be wary!

Not long ago, I got a call from this number claiming that my Medicare card had been cancelled. When I probed for more details, the caller retorted that they needed my information to send me a replacement. I couldn't help but scoff and thought, "Do I look daft to you?" before I hung up the phone.

I've been bombarded with more than 20 calls from this number, which apparently belongs to Medicare, and they keep asking for my wife. It's absolutely baffling how these con artists are able to spoof the actual 800 number of Medicare. People who dial this number genuinely expect to reach Medicare, but instead, it's just a front for these scammers trying to obtain personal information. Quite unsettling, really!

I had a rather curious phone call recently from the number 800-633-4227. When I inquired who was on the line, a chap informed me he was calling regarding my Medicare. Now, I found this rather puzzling as I’m only in my 40s! Before I could question him further, he abruptly hung up. Curious, I decided to ring the number again, only to find it led me back to the Medicare office. It’s got me wondering if there’s a way for them to spoof caller ID, as this definitely felt like a dodgy call.

On the evening of 13th February 2018 at 8 o'clock, I received a rather dubious call from the number listed above. The individual on the line had a pronounced Indian accent and informed me that I was eligible for some new benefits for 2018 at absolutely no cost to me. After verifying my surname, they sought the precise spelling from my BC/BS supplemental card. This, I quickly realised, was a ruse; they then proceeded to request my member ID associated with my account. The moment I declined to provide that information, they abruptly terminated the call. Upon further inspection, I discovered that the number in question is indeed connected to Medicare. Best regards, William K Nock Essex, MD [email protected]

I mentioned to Michael, who had an Africani accent, that he would ring me back, and this was on a Saturday, mind you. However, I received a call at 7 in the evening from someone with what appeared to be an Asian accent. Quite a dodgy lot, if you ask me, calling from San Diego, California.
