What a con! I had a couple of calls on the 2nd and 3rd of May, 2017, claiming that "All services on your Microsoft Windows will be halted. To sort it out, ring our free number 1-800-608-5160." Another slightly different message came from 1-800-998-5202.
Best to ignore these calls altogether.
