The caller, a woman named Krystal, left a voicemail telling me to ring back 800-603-9438, which isn’t the same number that showed up on my caller ID. She said she was from "LTC Administration" based at PO Box 541203, Waltham MA 02454, claiming to manage my mum’s long term care insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota (BCBSMN). I rang the BCBSMN number on my mum’s policy directly, but no one there recognised "LTC Administration." After asking, they put me through to their Grievance Department, where I spoke with Deb B. She couldn’t confirm who LTC Administration was either, nor could she find any contract or legal docs showing this company had permission to handle my mother’s insurance. Deb promised to look into it, but this whole thing’s making me quite worried.
