These folks are debt collectors. Just pick up the phone and tell them to quit calling and to send any info through the post instead. If they keep ringing, you can actually take legal action and get up to £1,500 for each call. Most people don’t understand these aren’t the companies you originally owed money to, so you don’t owe them a penny. They can’t prove any debt because they’re not your original creditors, no matter how much they press you. That’s why they behave so pushy and rude - they try to scare you into paying illegally.
