I received several calls from this number at the ungodly hour of 5 in the morning. I picked up the phone twice, and each time they simply uttered, "oh, wrong number." Yet, lo and behold, they attempted to reach me yet again. Quite peculiar, I must say!

I just missed a call and they didn’t bother to leave a message. My caller ID mentioned Oklahoma Federal Credit Union, but I’m from Canada! What on earth would a US bank want with me? When I tried ringing them back, I ended up with an automated system. I decided to hang up before it could put me through to anyone. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I saw I had a missed call, and there was a voicemail alert, so I had a look. However, there was no actual message left; they simply disconnected. If it had been a genuine call, surely they would have taken the time to leave a note!

I just received a rather peculiar phone call from this number at 16:27 on the 26th of October, 2018. The caller was inquiring whether I had received any electronic devices or a laptop in the post and insisted that if I had, I needed to return it as they were purportedly going to dispatch another one. The odd thing is, I actually did receive a laptop from my online school. When I mentioned that I intended to wait for the new one before sending the original back, he started weaving an elaborate tale. What struck me was his excellent command of English, which made the whole situation all the more baffling.

I discovered that this number is listed right at the bottom of Dell's official page. I received a call from it, and an Indian gentleman was on the line. When he requested my shipping details, I asked to speak to his manager. The manager informed me that it was a routine verification to confirm that they were sending items to a US address. Instead of me relaying my address, he offered to provide it, and I simply needed to confirm its accuracy, which I did. Personally, I don't consider this to be a scam; it's more of an irritating example of Dell's outsourcing practices.

Complete shambles! They've been ringing me incessantly, attempting to get into my computer. It’s become rather tiresome, and I can’t fathom what it’s going to take for them to finally give it a rest.

I've somehow caught a nasty bit of malware from a news website, and it's wreaking havoc on my computer. It keeps crashing my system and bombarding me with dodgy phone numbers to ring. This has been going on for a couple of months now, and it keeps masquerading as Google Chrome and Microsoft. It interrupts my news programmes from various stations and even pops up while I’m trying to check my Gmail. To make matters worse, I filled out a survey from Dell, thinking it might help, and ever since then, I've been inundated with calls from 18004563355. They keep leaving voicemails about some kind of "investigation," but I can never seem to get a hold of anyone, despite the names they’ve mentioned, like Mia and Katelyn. What a right pickle!

I've received these calls myself, and it persisted even after parting ways with my Dell computer. The only thing that seemed to deter them was me blasting an air horn into my microphone! Fast forward two years, and we've now fallen prey to identity theft. Astonishingly, one account that got opened was with Verizon, and it had four different numbers linked to it before it could be recognised and shut down. One of those numbers was, quite bizarrely, the one from Dell - it came through as an incoming call.

Rang me but didn’t bother to pick up! Sounds dodgy to me.

I recently got a phone call from 18004563355, purporting to be from Dell, requesting to confirm my address and email details. To be honest, it feels quite concerning as it seems there might be a security issue on Dell's end. They were asking about information that only a customer would know, which raises a few alarm bells for me.

I've been receiving calls from this number nearly every month, and they always leave a message urging me to return a call to a Katlyn at extension 7230215 or on her direct line, 512 173-0215. It's clearly a scam, yet it's rather alarming that they seem to know about my dealings with Dell, contacting me just a few days after I've spoken with them. How they managed to acquire that information is quite puzzling! I reckon Dell ought to investigate this matter closely. The caller had an Indian accent, with the typical din of a call centre in the background, but oddly enough, they appeared to be based in Richmond, attempting to throw Dell off by mimicking an accent to divert attention from their actual operations in an Indian call centre rather than in Canada. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Could someone please help me identify the person ringing me from this number? They've been calling me twice each night around midnight without fail. I’d really appreciate any assistance in tracking this down, cheers!

I've received a few dodgy calls from the number 800-456-3355, claiming to be from Dell. Honestly, I have my doubts about their legitimacy. I regret allowing them remote access to my computer, as it has been entirely out of sorts since then. I'd strongly advise against engaging with this lot - it's definitely a scam!

What a complete con! I’ve received two calls from the number 18004563355 where they insisted on clarifying my credit card details for an order I’ve not placed at all. They claimed to be a call centre based in India and the agent’s name was absolutely ridiculous. I was considering purchasing a laptop, although not specifically a Dell. They had access to my personal information, which is quite alarming, and now I've spotted an unauthorised transaction of $1950 on my card. I’ve had to cancel my card and dispute that charge. Dell really needs to step up their game when it comes to protecting their customers and potential buyers like myself! Because of this experience, I’m steering clear of Dell altogether.

Earlier this year, I picked up a Dell desktop from Costco, but I've had a right faff with it since. The WiFi keeps disconnecting at random, and every time it wakes from sleep mode, the screen turns an annoying shade of white. I rang Dell for help and ended up with this number, where they suggested remote access to my computer. Instantly, I sensed something fishy, as it had all the hallmarks of a scam. They tried to convince me I’d need to fork out over £200 for a year's worth of support, or more than £100 for a one-off fix. To add insult to injury, I soon discovered they were operating from an office in India. I truly can't fathom how the legitimate Dell company can condone such dodgy practices. Suffice to say, I won’t be purchasing any Dell products in the future!

I've been receiving calls from this number on a weekly basis for the past few months. To be honest, I never placed an order for any Dell products, though I did have a stint working with Dell Services. It seems rather probable that there’s been a security lapse on their end. Take care out there! Ionut

Hello there! Just wanted to share a little experience I had. I received a call from this particular number, with a woman claiming to be from Dell. I had indeed placed an order for a laptop last month, and the tracking indicated it was on its way. She then requested my credit card details allegedly to update my information. I felt uneasy and refrained from sharing that info. She proceeded to mention she would send an email with a link to follow, warning that failing to do so might result in my order being cancelled. So, I decided to ring Dell myself, and thankfully, my order remains intact! Just a word of caution to everyone: it's best to keep your personal information private and not share it over the phone!

I've been inundated with bizarre calls from something called 'Dell Tech Concierge,' and it seems they have quite the reputation for pulling a fast one on unsuspecting folks. Dell insists it’s not their doing, suggesting it’s somehow a breach on my part. However, it feels like either my details have slipped through their fingers, or they've been compromised themselves, as I'm far from alone in this ordeal. There are countless others in the same boat, possibly even into the thousands. The number that reached out to me today claims to be Dell, but who knows if it's the actual company or just a ruse? Either way, I can't take that chance. So cheers to you, Dell, but no thanks!

This number is associated with Dell's technical support team. They've reached out regarding my laptop that’s still under warranty and unfortunately has developed a fault.
