13 yearsI received an unexpected call from an "out of area" number, specifically 949-502-0983. A chap identifying himself as Kyle Evans from Chelsea and Associates was on the line. He stated, “There have been several attempts to resolve this issue concerning a property at XXXX,” before urging me to ring his legal department at 800 449 0097 and cite my case number. He seemed to imply legal action was imminent for some unknown reason. Honestly, I’m baffled-I have no outstanding debts, I owe nothing to anyone, I certainly haven’t enrolled in anything online, and I've never breached the law. What on earth is going on? By the way, what sort of company resorts to leaving intimidating messages on someone's voicemail?
