They said it was time to renew my service, so I agreed to pay £199 for a three-year plan. He used something called Coinbank to take payments off my cards, but since it wouldn't let me pay more than £100 at once, I had to use three different credit cards. Later, they phoned up saying they'd charged me too much and needed to refund £50, but also wanted to get back into my computers to sort out the refund and update my McAfee. I said I was busy and to ring back later. When I stopped answering, they kept calling like mad - I reckon at least 15 times on both my landline and mobile. If this really was Dell, then it's proper harassment, but even if it's a scam, it's still really intrusive.
