Earlier today I got a voicemail from this number, it was some recorded message talking about a loan I supposedly had with Hong Leong Bank. They said if I wanted more info, I should press 9. I did that, but after I pressed 9, the call just cut off and nothing else happened. I’m left wondering what’s meant to happen after pressing that number?

I'm having the same problem as everyone else here, I also pressed 9. Thing is, I haven't had a Hong Leong Bank Credit Card for years, so why would I have an overdue amount of over RM3,000? Feels like a scam to me.

Got a call saying I owed money on a credit card, but the weird thing is, I don’t even have a credit card or any account with Hong Leong Bank. I tried finding their customer service number and found one starting with 03, then stumbled on a hotline 1800388888, but it’s missing a digit compared to what's listed on http://www.1300.com.my/hong-leong-bank. I’m planning to double-check with some locals who know Hong Leong better. This feels dodgy, maybe a new scam related to credit cards or bank fraud?

Somebody called me saying I had a personal loan with Hong Leong Bank, but I never even applied for one. Quite fishy if you ask me!
