I’ve encountered a dodgy caller claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting they need to “SORT OUT YOUR COMPUTER OVER THE PHONE.” Just a heads up, steer clear of these chancers! They’re nothing but trouble and could end up locking you out of your device and demanding payment.

I've had no less than five calls this morning from some number that insists they're the fraud department for Chase. Quite suspicious, wouldn't you say?

I've been receiving daily calls from someone purporting to be from the Chase Fraud Prevention team. It's getting rather tiresome, as I've already informed them I believe it's a scam, yet the calls persist unabated. Every time I attempt to return the call, it’s the same chap based in Arizona who picks up, claiming to represent Chase. It's quite frustrating, to say the least!

I got a peculiar message at my workplace suggesting there might be some dodgy transactions on my debit card that ends in 0281. The thing is, I've never had a Chase debit card to begin with. Furthermore, my work phone isn't linked to my banking details at all. So, I decided to ring up Chase's customer service for clarity, and after a thorough search of their records, they confirmed that this number is definitely NOT affiliated with them. They advised me to report the incident to [email protected], which I promptly did.

My husband received a call at his workplace supposedly from the Chase fraud team, claiming they were checking up on some recent transactions linked to our account. Naturally, I phoned Chase directly to inquire whether they even have a fraud department. It raised quite a few eyebrows when I realised a couple of things. For starters, this number isn't listed in any of Chase's official records. Moreover, they chose to ring his business line, while Chase has only our residential number registered. To top it all off, they requested the last four digits of his debit card for verification. If they were genuine representatives of Chase, wouldn’t they already possess that information? The two customer service agents I spoke with at Chase both confirmed that it was indeed a fraudulent call.
