I ended up being given this number to arrange an account because I'm after getting a home phone installed. Some absolute numpty took all my details, claiming that the technician would pop round today at two to get my phone service sorted. But guess what? He never turned up! So, I rang the number again only to be told they’ve got no record of my info from yesterday. It really feels like AT&T are just a bunch of con artists at this point!

I received a call from someone purporting to adjust my AT&T invoice by a certain sum. I politely informed them that I hadn’t been subscribed to AT&T for ages. To my astonishment, the chap asked if I had a middle finger. I replied in the affirmative, and then he had the audacity to suggest I should engage in a rather crude action with it! It’s quite evident that these fraudsters are up to their usual tricks with spoofing, but I find it curious that they never actually request my credit card information or social security number. Yet, somehow, they are capable of quoting me the same price as what’s posted on the AT&T website. My entire family is signed up for services with AT&T DirecTV, so it’s a bit unnerving. I really believe folks should exercise extra caution when it comes to sharing their personal information. After all, not all fingers are alike, and it really pays to think carefully before making any hasty choices!

I've heard some folks calling them scammers, but I have to say, I received a call from this number last week, and they helped me sign up for AT&T alongside Direct TV for just £105 for all three services. Becoming a bit cleverer, aren’t we? So, here’s the scoop: we’ve got DirectTV, and I received a call from this number during off-peak hours-around 6 in the morning, if you can believe it. An Asian-accented woman was on the line, but I struggled to grasp what she was saying. She enquired after my husband, but as soon as I mentioned the word ‘Military,’ she abruptly ended the call. A chap with a rather pronounced accent - bordering on the mechanical at times - rang me up, claiming to represent Directv. He spun a tale about securing a discounted rate for a couple of years along with all the premium channels thrown in for good measure. Received a rather dodgy call, supposedly from AT&T, but the accent was so thick I could hardly make out what he was saying. The chap claimed that they had been tinkering with our computer system and something went belly up last night. Now, apparently, they need to remove their software to issue a refund since it's incompatible. When I pressed him for the name of the program, he stumbled over his words and ultimately said, “I’ll need to access your computer to uninstall it.” It was obvious he was after both access to our home network and our card details to process this so-called refund. The representative proposed a £100 gift card in exchange for subscribing to a magazine trial and some auto discount services at a mere £1.95 each. Received a rather dodgy call last evening. A robotic voice claimed my account was about to be suspended and urged me to hold for a representative. I decided to terminate the call, as there's absolutely no way my accounts could be in the red-unless someone had gone and pinched my identity, which thankfully I have alerts for in real time. I received a call from an AT&T number that left me rather dubious. The initial caller was keen on sharing an exclusive promotion, inquiring about the number of televisions I owned and the amount I currently pay for my service. After a brief chat, I was handed over to a so-called manager who probed whether I had U-Verse 200 or 300. He proceeded to pitch a bundle for $125 a month that included Direct TV. When I firmly expressed my disinterest in Direct TV, he began touting the supposed advantages of their "new and improved" dish setup. I reiterated my preference against having a dish, and then he mentioned he would check for any ongoing promotions with U-Verse. Suddenly, the line went dead. Feeling uneasy, I looked up the number and promptly blocked it. Both individuals had quite noticeable foreign accents which added to my suspicion.

They instruct you to recite it back, and at that juncture, you’re in quite a predicament. They somehow find a way to attach themselves to your account, all without needing your password. One person attempted to buy five iPhones from Best Buy, asserting they were authorized on the account. Luckily, Best Buy caught on and refused them the devices. While this number might appear to be genuine, it's clear that these fraudsters have found a rather crafty method to disguise themselves as a legitimate source.

Complete and utter sham! I had a chat with a chap who had a rather pronounced Hispanic accent. He was keen on me completing a "survey," only to inform me that I’d receive a $20 credit for my efforts. The cheek of it! He pried into how pleased I was with my mobile service, yet the twist is, I don’t even have an account with AT&T! His “system” apparently indicated otherwise. Then came the request for my ZIP code and the last four digits of my National Insurance number (luckily, I shared some made-up details instead).
