I keep getting these random texts that keep charging me £3 every week unless I reply. It’s a total rip-off, really annoying. Please, just stop!

Don't bother texting "stop" - just ring the number instead. When I called, I got through to a woman whose role seemed to be just handling these kinds of calls. Before I could explain the situation properly, she cut me off asking, "Do you want me to cancel it?" I figured she must’ve heard this a lot. I said yes, then asked for a refund for the money they’d taken. She said she could only pass on messages though, so I told her to make sure someone got back to me about sorting out a refund or else I'd have to take further action because what they were doing was illegal, blah blah. She took down my details, and about two weeks later, I found a £42 cheque in the post! Apparently, they’d been deducting £3 each week for 14 weeks, which I had no idea about!

I’ve been getting charged £3 every week out of nowhere. Sent STOP by text, made a complaint to PhonePayPlus, and even got in touch with synchronized.co.uk, telling them I’d take legal steps if the messages or charges don’t cease!

Got about four calls like this one in July.

Got a text that looked dodgy, ignored it and now there's two charges of £2.50 on my bill. Definitely a scam.

I tried it out but it made no difference. The charges are still there. I’ve rang the number listed and now I’m just waiting to hear back from their refund department. Fingers crossed!!!

I ran into this problem myself. Saw an extra £12 on my latest bill and got in touch with Three network. They transferred me to the company responsible. Had a chat with a woman there who said I'd never agreed to anything, wasn't sure who they were or what they offered, and I asked for all my money back. Got a cheque in the post just yesterday, no hassle at all.

Over the last few months, I've noticed that money's been taken from me quite a few times, about £2.50 each time, and it’s coming from this number. I honestly don’t know who they are or what service I accidentally signed up for to get these texts.

I never agreed to any of this. Thought the texts were dodgy and just ignored them but suddenly spotted several £2.50 deductions from my account. Even sent stop like they told me to, but it didn’t help. Really annoyed about this.

Just wondering, did you get your money back? And after that, did the messages finally stop coming through? Cheers!

This is so frustrating, I feel like stuff like this should be against the law! I’ve tried calling this company loads of times but can’t get through. Three different networks told me to ring them, but no one ever answers. They still owe me more than £60.

So, we got hit with a bill for some phone service we never signed up for. Tried reaching out to Vodafone but they just say it’s not their problem. Anyone knows who we should actually get in touch with to sort this mess?

I got in touch with O2 about about £40 charged to me for premium texts from the number 80008. They told me to ring 0247 699 8420 to report it properly. They've said they’ll be sending me a refund cheque soon. Here’s hoping it comes through!

For the past three weeks I've been billed £2.50 for each of three messages, even though I never agreed to this service. It's from a site called your-eyes-only.com or something. Really annoying!

For the last five weekends, I've noticed a £2.50 fee showing up for what looks like a premium text service. I spoke with O2 and they told me to text "stop" to 80008 to unsubscribe and hopefully end these dodgy charges. I'll keep an eye on my bills over the next couple of weeks to see if it actually works.

For the past three months, I've been getting these texts and each one costs me £2.50. I'm on 02, so that's added up to about £40 in total. I spoke to 02, and they suggested I should just change my number.

For three Saturdays in a row, this number kept sending me texts. I just ignored them at first, but then I noticed Virgin Mobile had taken £3 off me for each message. I got in touch with Virgin and they luckily took the fees off. They told me to reply with STOP to try and stop any more charges. Guess I’ll wait and see if that actually works.
