I am being completely scammed by an unsolicited text service that charges me £3 per week until I respond with "stop."

Please refrain from using the "stop" number for texting. Instead, kindly contact them by calling the provided phone number. When I called, I was connected to a lady whose role seemed to be handling incoming calls. Before I had the chance to explain the entire issue, she interrupted me and asked, "Do you want me to cancel it?" It appeared that she was accustomed to receiving such calls. I confirmed my request for cancellation and insisted on a refund for any money that was charged. However, she informed me that her responsibility was solely to take messages. So, I suggested leaving a message for someone to call me back in order to arrange a refund. I also warned her that if this matter was not resolved, I would take legal action as their actions were against the law. After providing my name and address, two weeks later, I received a cheque for £42! Apparently, they had been deducting £3 per week for 14 weeks without my knowledge.

I seem to be getting charged £3 a week. I have requested to stop receiving text messages, lodged a complaint with the Phonepayplus authority, and I have also contacted synchronized.co.uk. I have warned them that I will take legal action if either the messages continue or if I get charged again!

I followed the instructions but haven't seen any changes. The charges are still visible. I've contacted the provided number and am currently waiting for a response from their refund team. Quite frustrating!

I encountered a similar problem recently. I discovered an additional £12 on my monthly bill. I reached out to Three network, who transferred me to the company responsible. On the call, I spoke to a woman and clarified that I had never agreed to their services and was unaware of their purpose. Furthermore, I requested a complete refund. To my satisfaction, a cheque arrived yesterday without any complications.

Over the course of the past few months, I have noticed that an amount of £2.50 is frequently being charged to my account from this particular number. However, I am completely unaware of the origin or identity behind these charges. It is puzzling to me how I have unintentionally become subscribed to this text messaging service.

I never registered for anything. I have been disregarding the text messages because I believed they were fraudulent. However, I recently discovered several charges of £2.50 on my account, even though I followed the instructions and sent a stop message. I am extremely displeased with this situation.

May I inquire if you have received your refund? Have the text messages stopped afterwards?

Thank you.

I am extremely dissatisfied with these messages; this should be against the law! I have been unable to contact this company, despite Three Network instructing me to call them. The scammers are refusing to answer my calls. They have a debt of more than £60 owed to me.

How can I put an end to the recurring charge of £2.50 that has been deducted from my account for two consecutive weeks?

I began to receive text messages from this particular number every Saturday for three weeks in a row. Initially, I chose to ignore them, but then I discovered that I was being charged £3 for each text. So, I reached out to Virgin Mobile and requested them to remove these charges, which they did. They also advised me to send a text with the word "STOP" to the same number in order to prevent any future charges. Now, I will wait and see what happens next.
