Saw today (21/01/20) I'd missed a call from 12/01/20, the caller ID showed something about 'Russia' which made me a bit wary. I do recall my phone ringing once and then going silent, so I just figured it was a wrong number or a pocket dial. Ended the call straight away once I realised. I've gone ahead and blocked that number now.

They called me once then cut off, I honestly thought it was a mate I’d just spoke to coz they said they’d text me their new number and it all seemed to happen at the same time. So I replied thinking it was them. Does anyone know if you get charged for this? A different friend of mine got a call from an 091 number and ended up with a £50 bill! Luckily his mobile provider sorted it out and gave the money back. If anyone knows how this works, please let me know, would be really helpful!

Got a call from +79407833197, it just rang for a couple seconds before hanging up. My phone shows the number is from Russia. The only thing I can think of is I signed up for Yandex email and their browser yesterday, since they’re a Russian company. Maybe that has something to do with it?
