I got these weird calls with a robo message threatening me. They never say who they are, just claim there’s some scam linked to your social security number and say you’ll get legal papers sent to your house or job unless you ring back with a case number to sort it out. When I tried calling them, it was just more automated nonsense - no actual human to talk to. Definitely seems like a dodgy and illegal scam. Best to ignore and move on.

Got some scary messages on my mobile saying my social security number's been involved in fraud. When I tried ringing back, no one would say who they were. They just said I needed to provide the case number they left on my voicemail before they'll talk. Proper fishy if you ask me.
