What a dodgy operation this is! I spotted the number pop up on my phone and assumed it was a client from the same region, so I foolishly returned the call. To my surprise, someone picked up claiming to be from the "IRS," but the accent was so thick, it was hard to believe. As far as I know, the IRS wouldn’t be outsourcing their calls overseas. I just told them I’d misdialled and promptly hung up. Quite suspicious indeed!

Just yesterday, I was bombarded with a pair of texts in quick succession, not to mention several calls from this number throughout the day. Each time, it was the same automated voice insisting I return the call due to some imaginary lawsuit against me, warning of dire repercussions if I ignored them. It's glaringly obvious this is a scam! I've made the decision to ignore any calls from numbers I don’t recognise. I've also had a handful of other missed calls with no voicemail left behind. It's become a daily nuisance, and I'm utterly fed up with this relentless harassment!

On the 13th of September, I got a call from a bloke with a heavy accent trying to sound all official. He claimed to be from the IRS, demanding I cough up some cash or I'd be facing a lawsuit and potential arrest. Immediately, I realised it was a dodgy scam so I told him to hang tight while I rang the police. "Go on, go ahead," he said, rather cheekily. But as soon as I got through to the police, he promptly cut the line. Just a heads up, the IRS certainly doesn't operate in such a shifty manner! Stay alert!

I seem to be inundated with calls from this number, and it's always some sort of automated message. They've even left voicemails on my answering machine. How does one rid themselves of these pests?
