I received a call from someone purporting to be from Microsoft. They instructed me to enter 'I support' into the run command, suggesting it would allow them to access my computer and resolve all my error notifications. Quite dubious, if you ask me!

Utterly pointless, this call was! They decided to ring me at the ridiculous hour of 4 o'clock in the morning. What a nuisance!

I can assure you, this isn't a scam. The individual on the other end of the line identified themselves as working for a social service organisation, aimed at assisting individuals who have undergone various surgeries or treatments and facilitating compensation. My husband had a hip replacement not too long ago, and he received a call while I was at my job. He mentioned that he had a conversation with a solicitor about the compensation he’s entitled to. Apparently, the solicitor is proposing a payout of £10,000 for his dislocated hip.

It's quite evident that this number is associated with a dodgy outfit or a bunch of scammers. The individual on the other end purports to be from some branch of the US government, claiming they require medical details to refresh their records. This is patently untrue since the US government doesn't make incessant calls-especially not to the tune of a hundred without so much as a voicemail left behind. Furthermore, there’s no entity known as US Medical Services in any government capacity. It’s quite likely that this Miami number is merely acting as a conduit for calls originating elsewhere.
