I got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft. They asked me to open the run command and type "I support" so they could supposedly fix the error stuff on my PC and take control. Sounded fishy to me.

Definitely a total spam call. They rang me at four o'clock in the morning!!!

I don’t think it’s a scam. The person ringing said they’re from some social service group that's helping people who’ve had surgeries or taken certain meds by giving them compensation. My hubby had a hip replaced recently and called me while I was at work to tell me he spoke with a lawyer about getting some money back. He mentioned the lawyer offered him about £13,000 for his hip dislocation.

This number is definitely linked to some sort of scam or dodgy outfit. The caller says they’re with the US government trying to collect medical info and need to update their records. But that’s rubbish, no way would the US government ring repeatedly without leaving a voicemail. Plus, there’s no official government department named US Medical Services anyway. The Miami area code might just be a front, with calls being redirected from somewhere else entirely.
