I received a robocall purporting to be from TalkTalk, threatening to disconnect my broadband unless I pressed 1 to speak with someone. Even though I’m a TalkTalk subscriber, I chose to end the call and promptly sent an email to TalkTalk explaining the situation. They confirmed that it was a wise decision to hang up.

Received a call at 2:11 PM on the 27th of June, 2018. It was an automated message claiming to be from TalkTalk, warning me that my broadband connection was about to be cut off unless I pressed 1 on my phone. I chose to disconnect instead, as TalkTalk isn't even my internet provider.
