I decided to pick up and they claimed to be from united Healthcare. After seeing others post about this, I just said no thanks and hung up. Now I'm thinking of ringing united myself to check what's going on...

I got a call from someone claiming to be an advocate for my son's health insurance, asking me to give them his power of attorney so they could speak on his behalf. I decided to check directly with the health insurance company and it turned out to be a scam. They confirmed that the phone number they used isn’t theirs and the caller isn’t legit. Apparently, these fraudsters managed to access our records, and now I’ve been advised to report everything to the fraud and abuse team. Proper dodgy stuff.

I keep getting calls at all sorts of times but they never bother to leave a message. Problem is, I don’t recognise the number and don’t know anyone around here.
