Received a really confusing call about voting on shares in some company called something like "Dolce" which I don’t even own shares in as far as I’m aware. Just ignoring the calls for now but if they don’t stop, I’ll block them. From what I’ve seen, everyone they’ve called seems to have left negative feedback.

I got a call telling me to ring back about voting my Vanguard shares for some shareholder decision.

From what I know, Vanguard - or really, any company - doesn’t usually bother reaching out to individual investors like this, especially not with such a “nice and helpful” approach all of a sudden after so many years. I’m definitely going to check with Vanguard myself later, but for now, I’m just going to block the number.

Got two calls from this number today. Left a voicemail saying I should go vote or something. When I picked up the second time, there was nothing but silence. So I just blocked it.

My phone rang from this number, but I don’t owe anyone anything except my mortgage, which is all paid up… they didn’t even bother leaving a message on my mobile.

I got a call from Specialized Loan Services, which I later found out is a debt collector with quite a bad name. They apparently bought a bunch of loans from BOA and seem to have a really poor history for messing up payment records and causing foreclosures. Wouldn't recommend dealing with them!
