These folks keep ringing me twice every day and never bother to leave any voicemail. It's quite frustrating. Normally, I don't pick up calls from numbers I don't know, especially if they're from abroad, but I'm thinking I might answer this time just to see what they want and maybe stop them. I reckon it's something about a car loan, but seeing as I've already got a car and don’t need any loan, I’m curious what they say. Will update soon.

They’re a car loan company from Alberta, and I think they mostly grab their details from Facebook.

Got a call from some car finance place in Edmonton, they wanted to know if I was thinking about getting a new car. Told them not right now, but they were really courteous about it.

These people already had my name and started asking about a car loan. I told them I never applied for anything like that. Then they went on asking if I currently own a car, which felt way too personal. It's so irritating. How on earth did they get hold of my details?

The call came through really early in the morning from a number I didn't recognise, plus there was no caller ID so I just let it ring out. Later on, I looked it up online and found loads of people saying it's a scam number. After that, I went ahead and blocked it, and I’m never gonna answer or deal with them. If plenty of others are calling them pests and scammers, that’s enough proof for me to steer clear.
