Rang my home phone at 1306 on the 15th of November, 2017. When I answered and greeted, there was complete silence on the other end. After a brief moment, I tried again with another 'hello', yet still nothing. It was rather odd, so I decided to hang up.

At around a quarter past nine, my missus picked up the phone. The caller mentioned that our internet would be out of action for a couple of days. She then passed the phone to me, and when I spoke with my usual deep tone, they abruptly ended the call.

My landline rang unexpectedly, and as I picked it up, I could hear some sort of commotion in the background. Just as I was about to say something, the caller abruptly disconnected. Quite peculiar, really.

I encountered a suspicious call claiming to be from BT, asserting they needed to assist me with some technical issues. They requested that I access my computer for them to guide me through certain diagnostic procedures. However, when I suggested that I would verify their credentials by calling BT directly, they abruptly ended the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

They introduced themselves, claiming to be from some Internet Security firm - quite obviously trying to instil a bit of panic in me. Curious, I inquired about my Internet Service Provider, but after a brief pause, they abruptly disconnected. Quite the dodgy encounter if you ask me!
