On the first day, I received a call with nothing but silence, so I just ended it. The second day rolled around, and again it was quiet at first; however, I decided to hold on a bit longer. Eventually, they addressed me by name. They went on about enhancing security for my Visa Debit Card and all that jazz. Honestly, I couldn't bite my tongue and told them to take a hike before I hung up once more.

Hello, just wanted to share that I got a call from this number requesting the final three digits of my bank card.

Received a call today around 14:40. The chap claimed my number was on the Telephone Preference Service list and he was set to install a call blocker on my line, supposedly loaded with 3500 frequently reported nuisance numbers. I responded, “Are you saying this isn’t a cold call?” To which he insisted he wasn’t making a cold call at all! When I probed him about his employer and location, he told me he was associated with the TPS. I expressed my disbelief, and he responded rather abruptly, suggesting I could simply hang up if I was sceptical. So, I did just that.

I keep getting these incessant calls. I usually just let them ring until they lose patience. Personally, I never pick up calls that come through as INTERNATIONAL.
