I received a call from a bloke in his 30s who claimed to be a police officer. He was asking for donations to support kids who’ve been bullied. Sounds a bit dodgy, if you ask me...

I’ve been receiving calls from this number a few times a day, often at odd hours. I’d been ignoring them until now, but curiosity got the better of me. I decided to ring the number back and was greeted by a recorded message stating that it was from the Community Policing Association Care Line, seeking support for some community initiatives-or something along those lines. There was even a bit of info in French which I found a tad confusing. I managed to leave a message, requesting them to remove my number from their list. I can't help but think it might all be a scam. Should the calls keep coming, I won’t hesitate to reach out to the Canada Anti-Fraud Centre.

This particular number rings my home around three times each week. Strangely enough, there's never a soul on the other side of the line.

I received a call from a bloke who claimed to be a CPA. He started rambling on about how dangerous it is for youngsters to be behind the wheel. I mentioned that my English isn't great, and he responded with a casual, "No worries, that's all right." Then, just like that, he hung up on me.
