I got a call from someone saying they were from the RCMP. They told me Revenue Canada was charging me with fraud, and if I didn’t pay $70,000, I’d be locked up for 5 years. It sounded so real but I knew something was off.

Got a call from 7787693961 earlier, and when I picked up, some automated message was saying I’d committed fraud with the Canada Revenue Agency and to either ring the RCMP or get a lawyer involved about legal stuff. I tried calling the number back but it just didn’t connect to anything real. Proper scam, I reckon.

Got a voicemail saying it’s urgent and that ignoring it would be a big mistake. They want me or my lawyer to get back to them right away or else some legal stuff will catch up with me. Haven’t bothered calling back though.

Some bloke rang me up claiming he was from the crime agency or some kind of bureau, trying to sound all official and that.
