I've received a staggering 23 calls in just 48 hours. I've made it crystal clear that I won't shell out a penny, given that the debt in question is a relic from seven years ago-well past the statute of limitations. Back then, I was just a teenager, jobless and unable to cover that amount anyway. They tried to scare me by claiming it would ruin my credit score, but I recently purchased a shiny new car from 2019, so it's evident that my credit isn't taking a hit, is it? Oh, absolutely, they're after your banking details! A chap first inquired about a specific individual and then transferred the call to a woman who was remarkably pleasant. However, she couldn't get hold of my son. Instead, she started requesting his account number, insisting they needed it to authorise some withdrawal for a supposed debt my son had. When I’ve answered a couple of times, their behaviour has been shockingly rude, confrontational, and at times even threatening. Honestly, they ought to be held accountable for their actions; it’s disgraceful!
