I received a rather suspicious call just five minutes ago. Can't quite tell if it's genuine or just another scam. I inquired about how they managed to obtain my number, and their response was "from online." But the funny thing is, my personal number isn’t listed anywhere on the internet. This number has been ringing me for the last few days, and I finally decided to answer it earlier today. The caller claimed to be from Yellowpages and mentioned he was particularly trying to connect with small businesses like cake shops. Since I run a home-based cupcake venture, it makes sense why he reached out to me. He offered to assist in promoting my business by registering it with their service. Thankfully, he didn’t pressure me when I politely turned him down. Now I'm left wondering if it was a genuine call or potentially a bit dodgy. Fingers crossed I won’t hear from them again!
