I tend to ignore calls from unknown numbers since they often turn out to be debt collectors or some sort of tracing service (it's amusing to think that parking fines can end up in collections, despite the fact that taking them to Small Claims would cost more than the actual ticket!).

I've received calls from this number twice today, once yesterday, and on numerous occasions last week. Each time, there's been nobody speaking on the other end, even though the line remains connected. When I returned the call, I was greeted by a pre-recorded message saying, "Your call matters greatly to us. Kindly hold for the next available (agent? operator? I can’t quite recall)," followed by some annoying hold music. After seeing the experiences shared by others here, we've decided to block this number.
