I received a phone call today with a pre-recorded message claiming to be a warning from the Inland Revenue Service. I caught that part and promptly disconnected the call, as I'm well aware that the IRS doesn’t reach out to individuals via phone calls. Clearly, it’s just another scam attempt-someone out there trying to intimidate people into parting with their cash!

I've received a message indicating that a lawsuit has been lodged.

I just received a voicemail that claimed it was a warning from the tax office. Total dodgy scam! The tax office doesn’t make calls like that. I've blocked the number straight away!
