I just had a call from someone claiming to be Windows support, saying my hardware was screwing up their software or something. I had a good laugh. Then they told me to open eventviewer and check out all the errors. What a joke!

Got a call really early this morning, like around 6:15, from someone claiming to be Microsoft. They said my PC was infected with a virus. Sounded like he had an accent, maybe Indian. I just ended the call straight away.

This number just rang me up claiming to be from Microsoft Tech Support, telling me there was an issue with my computer. I reckon the call came from a place called UTH and I'm certain it's a scam. They've phoned me before as well.
